Dr. Larry Roff is a retired minister in the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) and has served churches in upstate New York, Ohio, and New Jersey as well as south Florida where he was a pastor at Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church and a professor at Knox Theological Seminary. He holds degrees in organ performance (Belhaven University), pastoral ministry (Reformed Theological Seminary), American church history (Princeton Theological Seminary) and worship/hymnody (Westminster Theological Seminary). He has served as organist for the annual PCA General Assembly for 50 years, is a published author, and editor of the PCA’s Trinity Hymnal.
Larry is currently writing and publishing weekly hymn studies, describing their authors and composers and commentary on the lyrics, with almost 150 completed so far. He has recorded a number of organ CDs, including several on the instrument in the Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Odessa, Ukraine for which he raised funds after seven years of benefit concerts. He and his wife Betty have two children and three grandchildren.
